You can integrate SMS into your HubSpot account with just a few clicks!
This opens up possibilities for you to:
Sync up your HubSpot contacts for SMS convos and campaigns (either directly within HubSpot itself or within your Mobile Text Alerts dashboard)
This data will always stay in sync so there's no manual data entry needed
Automate SMS campaign workflows within HubSpot
Have 1-on-1 SMS convos within your contacts’ HubSpot profiles
Here’s how it works.
Syncing your contacts
1. Go to "Integrations" within your Mobile Text Alerts account.
2. Select the "HubSpot" tile.
3. Choose the account you’d like to connect.
4. Click to connect the app.
5. Select which attributes you’d like to keep in sync between your HubSpot account and your Mobile Text Alerts account and then click "Continue."
6. Select from a few different syncing options and then click “Continue”:
Choose whether you’d like updates that you make to HubSpot contacts to be automatically synced back to Mobile Text Alerts
Choose whether you’d like updates that you make to Mobile Text Alerts contacts to be automatically synced back to HubSpot
Choose whether you’d like all Mobile Text Alerts contacts to be synced to HubSpot, or just the ones that already exist in HubSpot.
7. Click "Connect" and your Mobile Text Alerts and HubSpot contacts will be automatically synced moving forward.
(You can manage the sync options or disable/remove the integration from the Integration page.)
In the Mobile Text Alerts platform…
With your HubSpot contacts synced into the Mobile Text Alerts platform, you’ll be able to send messages and set up SMS campaign workflows – just like you can with any other contacts within your Mobile Text Alerts database.
You could even set up groups and workflows based on the customer attributes affiliated specifically with your HubSpot contacts (for example, if you wanted to put all contacts who come in from HubSpot into their own SMS drip campaign).
Here’s an example of how you could create a contact group connected to your HubSpot contacts…
1. Go to your "Groups" tab and click to create a new group.
2. Create an "adaptive" group with the condition as "opt-in source equals HubSpot sync."
Now anytime a contact comes into your Mobile Text Alerts contact list from HubSpot, they’ll be automatically placed in a “HubSpot contacts” group so that you can send and schedule messages to them within that group.
In HubSpot…
Through this integration you’ll also get some added capabilities within HubSpot itself:
1. You can have 1-on-1 SMS conversations with a HubSpot contact directly within their HubSpot profile, via an SMS inbox.
2. Your SMS conversations will be tracked via the HubSpot contact’s activity feed
3. You can use “Send a Mobile Text Alerts Message” as an “Action” in your HubSpot workflows, so you’ll be able to set up SMS workflows within HubSpot itself.
For example, the following workflow would automatically send a text message to new contacts that are added to your HubSpot database...
You would first need to select “Record Created” as the trigger for your workflow, and then “Send a Mobile Text Alerts Message” as the action:
Then, select the “From Number” (the phone number your message will be sent from), and in the “To Number” field, you’ll need to select to “view properties or action outputs from” the enrolled contact, and search for the “Phone Number” field. (That way, it will pull the phone number from the newly enrolled contact.)
Type in the content for your message and click “Save.”
